A hand-sculpted bust of a child with closed eyes and a serene expression. The hair is rendered in fine incised lines, pulled into a bun with a small bird perched on top. A bow decorates the collar. Left in raw, unglazed dark stoneware, the earthy surface emphasizes the sculptural detail.
